Connie Aburano

Connie Aburano, RN, LAc, is a skilled practitioner of Chinese Energetic Reflexology and Spiritual Acupuncture. She is proficient at powerfully moving energy to promote higher healing at a deeper level. Committed and passionate about her work, she has successfully employed the synergy of acupuncture and Chinese Energetic Reflexology with clients who have chronic conditions as well as acute disorders. Working on the spiritual and emotional level is critical to the healing process when a client is ready to propel to the next level. This involves removing old obstructions and stagnations while teaching tools that assist with connecting on a deeper level and maintaining a flow of energy for optimum radiant health.

Connie Aburano serves on the Board of Acupuncture for the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and is a past president of the Illinois State Acupuncture Association. Her extensive experience in both Western and alternative medicine includes private practice in Chicago and suburbs and as a nurse at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare for over 20 years.

Rick Brown

Dr. Rick Brown is a Chiropractic Physician and Certified Clinical Nutritionist. His background includes a B.A. in Education with an emphasis in Psychology and Sociology and a Certificate in Physical Education. His interest in exploring the body-mind-spirit connection and his passion for understanding human anatomy and physiology inspires him to educate his patients on all levels. For Dr. Brown, these principles are foundational to the self-healing approach he employs.

In his 21 years of practice he has developed a unique blend of techniques to create individualized plans to help his patients achieve optimal health. He employs a diverse mix of therapies and philosophies that include: Chiropractic, Nutrition, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Quantum Touch, Aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, and various massage therapies.
